Last fall I went to Marblehead and happened in the Marblehead Art Association gift shop. I spoke to a lovely woman who showed another of my work. I was invited to submit an application to their jury, subsequently to participate in their Holiday Artisan Show, it was an amazing weekend with some awe-inspiring talent. I’ve been invited to put pieces into their gift shop coming this summer and fall.

We would like to start off this week with an appreciation post for the Trove Cape Cod Art Gallery & Boutique. Clark contacted us prior to opening and asked if we’d like to place a few tables and jewelry in their beautiful gallery.

Trove Art Gallery & Boutique was founded in 2019 by the owner Clarke Doody and supporting partners Joshua Koopman and David Reinhardt. Trove carries all locally sourced artwork and goods; from jewelry to body care, paintings to ceramics, shirts to cards. Supporting the local artist community is the main driving force behind Trove.

Trove is a year-round business but is currently closed as a result of the current health pandemic. Once it is safe we plan to open back up and are planning outside events, music, and artist tabling in concert with the interior storage space. In the coming months Clarke and the team are opening a music recording studio and lesson space downstairs, so keep that in mind as well! Located right in route 6A next to Jo Mama's and Earth House.

I happened into The Drawing Room-Anthi Frangiadis Associates one day while getting a coffee. I was immediately impressed with the beautiful wares Anthi had in her store. I introduced myself and was equally impressed with Anthi herself, showed her some of my work and she immediately invited us to be one of her team.

I met Rob and Lisa Russell a few years back and when I approached them with my tables they were more than accommodating with allowing me to place a table there for sale. Troy from The End Zone and The Airport Grille was introduced to us by a mutual business contact. He toured our shop and was as excited about getting started as we were. We took all 25 old tables and transformed them into White Carrara Marble with restaurant blue accents! Great guy and great food here!

The team of local business owners and community leaders renovated and reopened the Airport Grille in 2019 offering a new outside dining area with local and regional entertainment. They look forward to a great summer with exciting new dishes from their talented chefs.
